I started my apprenticeship in 1993 in manly’s northern beaches doing mens and ladies hairdressing, through my 4 year apprenticeship I worked In the busiest and longest established hairdressing salon and barber shop in the northern beaches. I was lucky enough to work with amazing barbers and hair stylists and was also taught by an Italian master barber in all the long lost arts of barbering, including cutthroat shaving, stropping, and sharpening of cutthroat blades.
I realised this was a field of perfection, I knew this path was for me.In the industry I have successfully owned many salons and barber shops ranging from manly to the mid north coast, I have also had the pleasure of teaching successful business owners in the same industry and the pleasure of working with some of the best barbers I have ever seen.
Ive also been lucky enough to be the only barber in the mid north coast to be featured in its most popular magazine FOCUS MAG.
After 31 years in the industry, I have accomplished most that I could do including competition and completing world skills and successfully finishing advanced courses run by industry leaders.
Which brings me to Fenix eternal the barber product range designed by barbers for barbers, I thought well after so many years in the industry it was time to release an extensive product range that caters to all different mens hair types and styles without limitations.
